Player & Team Information
We encourage a family friendly environment and promote the values of teamwork, respect, integrity, reward through effort and fair play.
All abilities and levels of skill welcomed to play. New players to the club will be graded and placed within a team appropriate to their age and skills to further improve their development.
Our club accepts team requests however, these cannot be guaranteed.
Players are invited to trial for Performance / Graded teams in grades where applicable.
TEAMS AND AGE GROUPS

For players turning 5, 6, 7 or 8 years 2025.
Woolworths NetSet Net-Skills is a part of Australia’s official starter program for kids.
These sessions teach fundamental motor skills through activities and games.
These sessions are run by our club at the Bulli High School on a Friday afternoon during school terms.
This program does not include competition games. Players are not required to purchase a uniform.

For players turning 8 or 9 years old in 2025.
NetSetGo is where the competition starts for young netballers who start playing competition games with modified rules, there is no finals series.
Players will be allocated into teams which participate in the Illawarra District Netball Association competition.
This competition is run on a Saturday morning at either 8.00am or 9.15am at either Berkeley or Fairy Meadow netball courts.
Teams train once per week. Times & days depend on individual coach availability. Training venues include Bulli High School, Thirroul Public School or Austinmer Public School.

For players turning 10, 11 or 12 years in 2025.
Junior netball is where players have the full rules and will compete in a finals series.
Teams will be graded with games played on a Saturday morning at either 8:00am or 9:15am. All games are played at Berkeley Netball Courts.
Teams train once per week. Times & days depend on individual coach availability. Training venues include Bulli High School, Thirroul Public School or Austinmer Public School.

For players turning 13, 14 or 15 years in 2025.
Competition games are played on a Saturday morning at 10.35am. All games are played at Berkeley Netball Courts.
Teams train once per week. Times & days depend on individual coach availability. Training venues include Bulli High School, Thirroul Public School or Austinmer Public School.

For players turning 15, 16 or 17 years in 2025.
Competition games are played on a Saturday afternoon at 12.00pm. All games are played at Berkeley Netball Courts.
Teams train once per week. Times & days depend on individual coach availability. Training venues include Bulli High School, Thirroul Public School or Austinmer Public School.

For players turning 15 or more in 2025.
If you are turning 15, 16 or 17 you may choose to play in the cadet or senior competition. Please select the relevant section when you register on Play HQ.
Teams train once per week. Times & days depend on individual coach availability. Training venues include Bulli High School, Thirroul Public School or Austinmer Public School.
Competition games are played on a Saturday afternoon at either 1.35pm and 3.10pm. All games are played at Berkeley Netball Courts.
All senior teams are also required to perform umpiring duty in their opposite time slot. 2 x players per week.
